Sweet Seconds

Yesterday our 15-year-old son came through the kitchen on his way outside and asked his nine-year-old sister if she wanted to go outside with him. When she asked, "Why?" Jarrod said, "Just feel like getting outside." With a beaming smile on her face little sister followed him out. For a few sweet seconds I basked in the glory of my "babies" actually choosing to spend time with eachother. It was a nice Mommy moment.
