Envy
My friend's pre-teen son told her she had "FREUDIAN envy". Really?! Does she punish him or congratulate him on his knowledge?

Young Love
A few days into the new school year Jeremy's teacher pulled him aside to ask him what he thought was standing in the way of him paying attention. Jeremy answered...."Well, Emma told me that when we're grown ups we can get married. Quite honestly, it's all I can think about."

Dear Jerilyn

Be strong in the Lord, and never give up hope. You're going to do great things. I already know. God's got His hand on you, so don't live life in fear. Forgive and forget, but don't forget why you're here. Take your time and pray. Thank God for each day. His love will find a way. These are the words I would say. ("The Words I would Say"---Sidewalk Prophets)
There could never be a more beautiful you. Don't buy the lies, disguises and hoops they make you jump through. You were made to fill a purpose only you could do. So, there could never be a more beautiful you.("More Beautiful You"---Jonny Diaz)
You know I have always said, "God Must Have Spent a Little More Time On You" ('N Sync)and I believe it.
Have a WONDERFUL year as you start your college career. I pray you make life-long friends, discover your many talents and passions, and follow your dreams. ANYTHING is possible. I believe in you!

Boys
A little guy recently started kindergarten and his flag football career. Here is the conversation between he and his grandma.
Grandma: "Tyler, I heard you made a touchdown last night?"
Tyler: "Yes, I did, but I 'runned' the wrong way and so the other team got the points."
Grandma: "You'd think your coach would tell you which way to run."
Tyler: "Well, he did but it looked too far so I 'runned' the other way."
Still laughing...

First Day of School
Happy first day of school everyone! A teacher friend of mine had some trouble sleeping the night before meeting her class. The following morning over breakfast she asked her kids if they too were a little nervous about the first day of school. Her third-grade daughter and kindergarten son both said they weren't nervous at all. In fact, her son went on to explain they had nothing to be nervous about because they have good behavior.
He did have this warning for his mom: When I'm a teenager I cood get in twuble if I'm a naked hobo.

Cup Holders
A friend of a friend took her 11-year-old son to the pediatrician. While waiting, Mom sat in the chair and son sat on the exam table. Minutes into their wait son lifts up the stirrups on the exam table and exclaims, "Hey Mom, Look! Cup holders!"

X-tra Special Movies for Mama and Papa
Jennifer and her soon-to-be-kindergarten-son Jaden are sitting at the baseball game last night, and her dad calls. He wants to know if Jennifer thinks Jaden would be able to order a movie ON DEMAND. She said, "Yes, because he does it at our house."
Her Dad--Jaden's Papa-- was kind of mad, so she told him she would pay for it. Wasn't sure what the big deal was, but after she got off the phone she asked Jaden about it. He said he did order a movie. When asked why he told his mom he wanted to surprise MaMa and PaPa with a movie they might like.
Trying to lighten Papa up a bit she sent him a text explaining why Jaden did it. She was confident this would melt Papa's heart...until he responded to Jennifer's text: Um, the movie he rented was X rated... I don't think MaMa would enjoy that.
I don't know if it is just me, but that is still making me laugh.
